Engage in this Telling Our Stories Press memoir project designed to help you
to sculpt your personal writings into unique memoir narratives.
UltraShortTM Memoir = Economy of language meets memoir.
Challenge yourself to:
- Employ various literary devices to tell your story true and bold and with originality
- Shape narrative while using different creative writing techniques (open letters, lists, images, poetry, dialogues, etc.)
- Admit discoveries about yourself and others
- Unearth themes and patterns of your life as they present them selves in your writing, your story
Submit your personal narratives of 100 (not to exceed 300) words.
Currently a rolling deadline, this project seeks short, but meaningful memoir for future Telling Our Stories Press print and/or electronic publications. This ongoing submission request may require many months of receiving submissions due to the small size of the narratives, therefore, publication (and even notification of publication) may not follow for at least 12 months.
As with all TOSP submissions, all contributing authors retain the rights to their works, and are granting TOSP permission to publish their works.
